RUGER 10-22 takedown lite optics choice?

I bought my wife a beautiful Teal 10-22 takedown lite for her 40th birthday last year. Her birthday is October 22….see what I did there.

Well anyways it has been sitting in the safe unfired due to no sights on it. I’m thinking a simple red dot that allows it to still go in the case when taken down. Looked at a couple today including the Vortex Spitfire 3X and the Crimson Trace Compact 1X that both looked nice.

Just curious what everyone’s running on theirs and how happy you’re with it.

I’ve been in the same boat for months and I think I finally settled on a vortex 1-4 LPVO. Not the lightest but light for what it is. I ran a cheap 3x for a while and never really liked it. A small red dot would work great too. Also Primary Arms has a cool scope with 22lr BDC.
