From what I understand, all the Casinos here are on Indian land and posted so this wouldn't surprise me in the least. Haven't heard though.

From my recollection.
If you are a member of the reservation the tribe prosecutes you depending on the crime.
If you are not a member it is a federal crime and prosecuted by the federal government.
I am not sure about reservation casinos but in Nevada , all crimes committed in a casino are felonies.

lol, i get a kick outta folks, never hear of anyone loosing at the casino all come home winners, uh yeah...........right, if all were winners there'd be no casinos, right. just saying

I've heard exactly the same thing, Rj, and I always laugh my butt off.

Lady down the street always wins $1,000.00 or so, gets comped for her room and meals 2 or 3 times a year. The comp is real, I've seen the paperwork. They go to Laughlin.

Yeah right, they give you free room and food for the privilege of letting you take them for a grand? No way.

Actually comps aren't about how much you loose. If you are a regular gambler (especially on big money tables) they want you to come back often, as they know the odds are in their favor that eventually you will loose.

Also a big winner is often offered a comp to get them back (or stay another day) so the casino can try to get it back.

lol, yeah, i have a couple friends who travel to vegas to play poker, both have been successful, but again how do you measure success in winning, by each play meaning each time out, or overall success.

I enjoy the occassional sauve wa faire, attitude i can gain at the casino, but know my limits, and don't mind leaving a few dollars, i enjoy more having a cocktail and people watching, especially my better half who just loves to pull the one armed bandit, if only she liked pulling it at home, lol

to all you successful gamblers, i tip my hat, for me its a diversion from the penny pinching days gone by

A friend of mine works at the Indian casino.
His job is to comp people.
He walks around in a suit and tie and makes losers feel like they are winning.
The more you loose , the more you are comped.
It is the same at all casino's.
