I have an older, much-carried Italian-made Beretta Cougar 8040F and would like to make it look nice and new again as I no longer carry it and these are turning into collector guns.

Is there a way to refinish the cougar in the nice Beretta factory bluing - or a company that's local (and reputable) that can do this?

What would it cost?

After all the horror stories for so many shop around town when it comes to refinishing / bluing I am curious as well. Lol.

Take a look at this guys restoration of quite a few fire arms, saw this on another site, i'd have to say, most would not be dissappointed.

Unless I'm missing something, there isn't even any contact info for him on that site.

Ford’s Custom in Florida is the best restoration shop in the country.

Keep in mind you will most likely spend more to have the gun refinished that it is worth. And a re-blued gun is no longer original, which can decrease the value.
