So I tried to bring up AZS on my tablet (which is my main computer), only to get this,....

But using my phone (which is android just like the tablet) I can get through to here as I always have. Both devices are Verizon and linked.

WTF?

Ranger did it, LOL.

Happened here yesterday on my Windows 7 running IE 11. I changed the login address to

https://www.arizonashooting.org/forum/

Works fine again.

Happened to me yesterday. I didn't change a thing and it works fine today. Go figure.

Fixed yesterday. This site uses a dedicated server provided via Dreamhost. They made a change to something and the htaccess redirect stopped working and they were unable to fix it, so it defaulted to some 'welcome' page they have since I have no index.htm in the root dir. I had to set up another redirect method and wait for DNS to propagate. Apologies for any confusion it caused.

Boss, You should backup your DNS zones, and or write them down for your notes. I have seen this happen far to often with hosting companies recently. Good to have backups, in case they screw it up.

I think you misunderstood what I said - nothing to do with DNS. The htaccess redirect stopped working, so the fix was to put in a redirect through DNS, and wait for the TTL. This is one reason that I don't use "shared servers" from hosting companies. Yes, VPS and Dedicated are more expensive by FAR, but you don't have to deal with other people making dumb mistakes. I'd have this hosted in AWS or Azure and skip the 3rd party in between, but I need more traffic to generate some advertisers or sponsors before I can afford to go all-in on those options.

Everything is backed up. Trust me, I do this for a living.

Same redirection just happened to me right now.

Yeah, still an issue for https auto-redirecting. I have a ticket in to get it fixed.

I'm sticking with the Russian Collusion theory, and none of your precious "facts" and "logic" can convince me otherwise!

Last couple of times I've tried to connect to the site I've been told my Cox that it doesn't exist. I've had to go to a saved page to get in.

You probably need to clear your browser cache or you aren't typing the correct URL. This issue was resolved back in July.

That fixed it.
