Really, on that note better get your practice in before the inevitable closing of shooting spots due to extremely high fire danger days.
Happens every summer, and with this one shaping up to be extremely dry it’s coming.

At today's ammo prices, I switched to laser dry fire practice.
The target and laser cartridges cost less than 2 boxes of ammo.
You can practice in your air conditioned house. The laser immediately shows you all of your bad habits with regards to trigger pull, flinching, anticipating the shot, etc
They are available in most pistol calibers and most popular rifle calibers.
They even have a semi auto version for most ARs that cycles the firing mechanism for true semi auto performance.

last summer was probably the most brutal in the 16 years I have been living here .. but I dont recall 100 degrees in early may and my outside thermometer hit it yesterday. Used to start in June. Gonna be another nasty one and no rain in sight.

Think I am going to look into the Laser thingy.

Well ammo isn't going down anytime soon. I'm stocked up but I still don't want to shoot ammo I can't replace. And yeah, it looks like its going to be another brutal summer.

Any recommendations on these laser thingys?
