13-3108 is Arizona's robust preemption law, ceding all legitimate power to regulate firearms in any way to the state, and denying this power to every local feifdom and bureaucrat with an anti-rights agenda. It is good law. It is great law. The people pushing the repeal are seeking power over the public in a nefarious way. Use of the term "gun violence" is a tell, it is crime we all want to curtail. The new made-up term "gun violence," adopted by mainstream everything, is a way to avoid saying crime, and place blame on firearms, which are neutral artifacts of liberty. These people must be stopped. Alan.

Your best bet is to get your membership with the Arizona Citizens Defense League and push for more notifications about this. Their are many gun websites like Arizonashooting.org in the state and your information doesn't reach all of them. They are the primary pro gun organization in Arizona. With over 18,000 or so in membership this organization can help spread the word to members.

The 2023 AZ legislative session starts on 1/9/2023 with the legislators elected this November. Since that election hasn't been held we don't know exactly who to contact as many of the 2022 legislators have been termed out. Any new legislation would be proposed then, passed through both houses and signed by whoever is elected governor in November.

Just my opinion but a change like this has very little chance of passing.

Not sure how many on the site now are new to AZ politics. The above is true. All that is needed to change from red to a blue state is a couple more dims be elected to the state congress. I push the AZCDL because it is self-funded through our members. Take a look at the website and see what they have been fighting against every year like "red flag laws", Limiting gun purchases to one a month, and visual and audio recording of sales and maintaining a database of the guns that you buy. This info can be found under the BAD Bills Stopped area of the AZCDL website.
