Because everyone and grandma has a camera on their person and mounted to the house. I'm with you but everyone's hands are tied including the cops. Back in the late 70's when I was living in the Howard Beach/ Ozone park area of Queens .. you had better bet this guy would have caught a nice beat down from the Italian dudes in the area. It would have been a family affair with dad and the boys joining in, mom and some hot sisters yelling encouragement and a few neighbors that ran out so they wouldn't miss out on getting a shot or two in.

Cops may or may not have shown up .. listened to the story and deemed the beating appropriate and .. the guy fell while running away. End of story.

While there was a sh*t ton of gangster type crime .. the neighborhood was pretty damn safe and you rarely heard of breakins and rarely still were muggings. The neighborhood took care of itself.

Now cops cant use discretion because they are monitored by the eye in the sky everywhere. Not sure things are better :think:

Kinda funny ... all this Sh*T about the government spying on us and we just willingly drop our panties and spy on each other and cant wait to post the vid on youtube.
