I was looking at Wikiarms police trade ins.
They have
Lorinco
Jennings
Bryce
Butler
Phoenix Arms
FMJ
They even scraped the bottom with RG

Are these actually police issue guns that are being traded in ?
If so , may God help them.

I think the cheaper ones have to be buy backs, or confiscations that the owners were never found, and now they’re selling them. I’d guess the glocks, sigs, smiths, etc are really trade ins.

Yeah, probably confiscated. I do think they should give them to the desk jockeys and political appointees as their issue weapons

Can’t imagine that any of those manufacturers were police trade ins, at least not from anywhere in the US.

Hahaha are they trading in there "plant" guns now lol. These where most likely confiscated or meter maids pieces lol

Aren't buybacks supposed to be destroyed ?

Nope, cannot do that in AZ, Tucson tried:

Snagged a (Trade in) FN FNS from AIM a month or so ago. Dirty but runs like a top after a through cleaning. These came from the factory w/3 mags but AIM only included 1 and made you buy the other 2 for $20 ea....I gave them their extra mag money though. Bastards.

Are these police trade ins or police confiscations guns?

These don't look like surplus or trade-ins to me. Seem more like confiscations to me. Confiscations or "crime guns" are usually cheap guns but I did pick up a S&W Model 19 for around $100 about 20 years ago. The only thing wrong was the Criminal investigation case number was elector-penciled into the side plate. Cleaned up the gun and it still shoots like a champ.

Against the law in Arizona.

I realize that.
I doubt these guns are from Arizona.
Most government agencies in Arizona sell their guns on a public auction site , not through wikiarms and you have to be an FFL to bid.

Sierra Auctions based in Phoenix do most of the Police guns in Arizona, they have at least one gun auction a month.

They are turned in issue guns, buybacks, and crime guns.

Anyone can bid and buy one of those guns, no FFL required to do that, they must be shipped to an FFL for transfer unless you go to their physical location to pick up in person and do a 4473.

I have bought more than one gun from them and had them shipped to my local FFL dealer in Tucson.

Be sure to add in the buyers fee, sales tax, shipping, and dealer fee to your max bid before you make it, or be prepared to be pissed off when you get the bill. Roughly 30% on top.

I still managed a few smoking deals from them even with the add ons.

There are a few that sell on the public surplus site and you need to be an FFL to bid.
They don't charge any extra fees on that site , besides tax.
I have never used Sierra auctions because of all the extra fees.
