I just confirmed that Parler was removed from the Google Play Store. If they don't have their own servers, the hosting companies might even dump Parler soon the way we're heading. I also wouldn't be surprised if ISPs started blocking the site.

That’s what google will say when you complain. Understand that most people now browse the internet with their phone through apps. Apple and google are in a position to gatekeep who is allowed to publish apps and just wait until the isps get into the game and crack down too.

And this is why I am slowly starting to de-google myself. I have set up my own server rack, servers, and have my own streaming services, cloud storage, and backups.

It is impossible these days to completely de-list yourself but I figure every little bit helps, and the less I use their invasive, censoring, and skeevy BS services the better it is for me, and in a minuscule way, worse for them.

Now Bezos, claiming to be responding to demands of his employees, is about cut them off leaving Parler high and dry. No doubt first archiving the entire history and data of the place and handing it over to whomever on the left demands it.

I knew it was a good move to resist switching over to Parler.
