I've looked around on the different "places to shoot threads" and didn't find any info on the CG range, I found 2 places are shown when I searched, one is the Mountain Park range and the other is the Elzy Pearson range, both on Isom rd.

Anyone have a preference or recommend one over the other and what about length? , I'm looking to shoot 3-5 hundred yds.

I've gone to TRC but they now have a range Nazi that's full of himself and made my last trip terrible, there were only three shooters and I guess he didn't have enough of an audience for him to harass so he picked me. (I wasn't being unsafe, he just wanted to show he was in charge)

Thanks for any advice.

Get in touch with Mgmt at TRC, tell them that you and your friends want to shoot there but the R/O is being a jerk. I don't know where you live but Phoenix has a range near South Mountain.

I've been to Elzy Pearson a couple of times.
No range Nazis.
Had a great time with the group I was with.
As I recall, you can do 300 yards there.
Get there early to get the lane you want.

Thank you Larry.
I live in Tucson so don't really need to or want to drive to Phx to shoot, CG is probably the farthest I'm willing to drive until the rains come and the restrictions are lifted.

Pima Pistol Club?

Made it to Elzy, not a bad drive, showed up close to eight, bunch of Yahoo's shooting pistols at the long range so had to set up at the 100 yarder with no tables, had our own so no problem.
Had some fun sighting in our rifles, will have to go back to use the long range, we'll make sure to get there before opening to get us a spot, really liked the range.
Pima pistol had a range Nazi last time I was there about 10 yrs ago.

I know it gets hot out there... But i sometimes hit that range after 12pm on a Saturday.... Maybe 3-4 people at the main range.. You have the cover.. Bring yur drinks and have fun!
