As for the past several years, Once again if you go out on new years please do not drink and drive. If you absolutely cannot get an Uber, lift, or friend message me and I will do my ever best to get you home safe. I will be working a task force that night and will not likely be off until 3:00 a.m. but I will check this message until 3:00 a.m. If you need me message me your phone number. Depending on where you are it might take me a bit to get to you but I will get you home safe. If you plan on throwing up in my truck you get to ride in the truck bed.

Alternatively, if you go out on New Year's Eve, don't get drunk. That's what immature teenagers do. Grow the f__ up and act like an adult. Take care of yourself, so real adults (like Lobo2087) don't have to take care of you.

You could take 2 sips off a beer and the cops could make a case for you being impaired to the slightest degree, so you don't have to get drunk.
OTOH, there are a lot of people who can blow a .08 and you'd never know they'd had a drink if you didn't smell it on their breath. It all depends on metabolism and DNA and other things.
Case in point:
My brother would spend a full day puking his guts out if he drank a 6 pack. I can drink a six pack and show no sign whatsoever of being inebriated and get no hangovers.

Professionals agree "its best not to participate with the amateurs on new years eve". Bad things happen !
NYE is amateur night. I usually get the fire pit rolling, maybe find a movie or two, and drink at home.
great offer, hopefuly some one takes rick up on it, i did this for years, but the last one was a couple years ago, had a projectile vomiter, shiathead didn't do it out the window, sold the truck, hehehe, thats the only issue with picking up drunks, haha, oh well, best of luck with pick ups and maybe saving some one some jingle and time in the hootscowl :clap:
