Will Devon Archer show up to testify on Monday 7/31? I have visions of Charlie Brown running up to kick the football while Lucy yanks it away. He has backed out of testifying on previous occasions; why should this time be different?
I also have visions of the scene in The Godfather, when Frankie Pentangeli is supposed to testify in Congress. Michael Corleone brings in Frankie's brother, Vincenzo, who sits in the back of the courtroom. Vincenzo is a big wheel in the Mafia in Sicily, and expects Frankie to keep the Mafia code of silence. Vincenzo also has had custody of Frankie's children while Frankie was in jail. Frankie figures that, to save his children's lives, he better not testify. So, he says he knows nothing about Corleone and the Mafia; he just told those FBI guys what they wanted to hear, so they would stop harassing him.
Maybe the Biden Crime Family has let Archer know that bad things could happen to his family if he breaks the code of silence. If Archer shows up, I would not be surprised if he says "I know nothing. Nothing."
Place your bets. Will Archer show up? If he does, will he incriminate the Big Guy?
