M&P shield 2.0

So I ordered this online this week. The shield 2.0 with integrated laser. It wasn’t until after the fact I wonder what happens if this laser malfunctions. I assume being built into the gun I would need to send the whole thing in for repair and be out of this gun for who knows how long?
