Back in the olden days when wheel guns were cool this is the only grip I knew. Then along came the semi auto’s, thumb forward or up position, looks badazz! Still working on the wedge grip technique, doesn’t work real well with the trigger guard configuration on the Glocks I’m finding out. May resort back to the old thumb tuck.

Revolver thumb down for me, 1911 thumb forward, unless shooting one handed then thumb down. Every other platform...who cares they don't matter anyway.
