I went to AZ Firearms in Tempe today to pick up a transfer. There was a line out the door about 10-15 people deep and nowhere to park. So i guess i wont be getting my transfer anytime soon. Not sure if they were limiting it to one person at a time or there was jsut that many people that they would not all fit inside. Good for there business bad for the regular customers. #ThanksObama This whole thing has got to be his fault somehow. :violin:

Seems like most have jacked up the prices on transfers but AZ Firearms has been doing them for 20.00 for me for a while on the stuff i buy. But the main reason i use them is they always call when something comes in, rarely drop the guns before i buy them and are about 2 miles from by business.

Went shooting at C2 Tactical in Tempe today.

They told me that a run on guns started Friday and by Wednesday closing time they had sold almost all their long guns and 3/4 of their handguns.

People are nucking futs.

I used them once. $50 for two pistols. When I called them out on it, and quoted the website ($30 for first. $5 for additional), I was told that it was old info. Pay up. Bought ammo for said pistols, that were a new caliber to me, elsewhere instead after that BS.

Yea i can see that being a bad deal. Now that online retailers charging tax and shipping in most cases it's no savings to do transfers anyway. Only use for old collectible stuff or hard to find items.

They can do what they want. It's their business. You should have made sure it was the going to be the same as the last time.

Must not be trying to screw people on transfers anymore...

I have never, ever been treated but fair and square there. They are really good people and PJ and his crew are not out to screw anyone.

I did have problems with the lady working there with glasses and the 1970 hairstyle, on a transfer of a USP pistol I had sent there from a GB auction. I got a delivery notification that my pistol was delivered and I went to pick it up a couple of hours later. She was arguing that it wasn't there even though they only got 9 packages. She was very rude and condescending to me. A young man went in the back and found it and did the transfer. I never brought it up to PJ and I just ignore her whenever I see her, even if she speaks to me. I have shopped there for over 30 years and everyone knows me by name.

I was just in there at the end of February to buy a LWRC rifle from them. A $2000 rifle that I got for $1040 out the door, that anyone could have bought at that price. They are a great shop.

Same as last time? My first sentence says "I used them once".

They're a half mile from my work. Figured their price on the web page was fair. Sweet, I'll send my new purchases there. Mistake.

You've really put you're troll suit on this week Elk....

Do they still have that hand written sign that says no open/concealed carry allowed? I saw that sign back in 2014, laughed, got back in my truck and drove away.

No, but tank you for caring enough to ask. I had hip surgery 2 weeks ago I fell in the kitchen and fu!led myself up. I've been on Oxycontin and vicodin and I've been reliving Vietnam lately. I'm just not myself

Well ph has always treated me good. But I do always ask for him personally and dont deal with his employees. I remember the gal with the glasses and she tried to pull a fast one on me until I asked for pj then I made the deal with him lol.

That was the old man, policy now says not to unholster... its one of the better gun shops in the valley, I like they carry a bunch of used and old stuff. More interesting shop than most and PJ is a decent guy.

Bought a few pistols from them..just looking and found some that I could not live without thing. Always HAD a decent inventory before Covid came along. I imagine it will be the same after the unhappiness over. Will peruse the place again but to hell with waiting in line.

dusty

Is the place that had police trade in deals on the old site? If you mentioned azshooting you got a discount?
