That's my concern. Democrats could turn out en masse to vote for Cheney in the primary, then vote for the Dem candidate in the general election, knowing that Republicans will not vote for Cheney. I believe that is a serious possibility.

I'd vote for the Dem candidate over Cheney if she won the primary just to send a message. I didn't vote for Romney or McCain, and I have a bad feeling I won't be voting for whatever puppet the Rs run in the next election. Maybe they will surprise me, but I doubt it.

Interesting how the alphabet news media bashed anyone named Cheney. Now Liz is their darling hero. Was this some maneuver on her part to be the anti Trump likable Republican and advance into higher politics. As presidential candidate, Republicans won’t vote dem, but dems, would like her anti Trump status. Many independents didn’t vote for Biden as much as they voted against Trump. If you play chess you can see this as a maneuver to position yourself so maybe some people will vote for you even though they will hold their nose doing it ie; McCain or Bush

In her "concession speech" Cheney said:
