Title says it all.
I've used my Rossi 92 in 44mag to drop a whitetail back in Ohio with irons and later a reddot (blasphemy! ), but I'm planning on trying my 30-06 Mauser once I work up a load for it. The rear peep sight is definitely an improvement over the original sights. Nice rifle to beat on for the $150 I snatched it up for since the last owner couldn't figure out what it was chambered in.
Probably just use it on coyote and javalina. I'll take my scoped 700 for deer where the shots might be longer.
