Hi, I was wondering if anyone has used the product from laserlyte or anything similar. If so is it worth it. I can't always get to the range as much I would like and but I wanting something like it to keep sharp.

It's been a few years sine I checked this system out but IIRC it was pretty expensive and only worked with certain guns (which you had to have). Maybe they have changed the system or expanded the list ... IDK.

I take it you want to use a laser activated target at home to improve your training skill... I did too.

Instead i bought a set of laser grips for my 1911 and what i would do is... in a darkened/twilight room, walk around a hallway corner and at the last second think... wall switch, doorknob, plant, picture, etc and at that moment draw and press the laser button in the grip- aiming for the variable target. This training was point shooting at the waist- level, not raising the sights to eye level. I also did the same with a J-frame S&W revolver... pretty soon I was on target just about every time...

now I have 2 laser grips I can use and the training to use them... YMMV
