President Joe Biden issues pardon for son Hunter Biden
The announcement came Sunday evening that he had pardoned Hunter Biden.

In a statement, he said, "Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter," for what he called a "miscarriage of justice."

"From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted," he wrote.

Then there is the other obvious reason that he pardoned him now. It cut off a lot of pre-sentencing investigation and testimony, especially in the tax cases, that would have led directly to Joe Bidet. Bidet would not have been president when that happened and would have no authority to pardon himself or Hunter.
Hunter had no useful value past being a Bidet himself.

Scuttlebut in the beltway is that the Trump team was actually sweating how the heck they were gonna be able to legally justify the pardoning and setting free the J6 defendants in order to keep the campaign promises;...but now Sleepy Joe has provided Trump his cover that he needs. By claiming Hunter's prosecution was in fact PERsecution, and that the pardon was intended to prevent "unfair" political targeting,...Trump can use exactly that same language and legal reasoning to let the J6 defendants go free.
