I received this email from someone panicked about the situation. I'm not sure how true it is in our own state and county, but maybe this applies elsewhere.

Have no idea of the veracity of this.

Definitely worth looking into, though.

“If you get a mail in ballot for the November election, do not destroy it or throw it away. If you do and you go to vote, they will assume you’ve already voted because they have a record that you got a mail-in ballot. Then you will not be allowed to vote on election day. You must bring the mail-in ballot with you. Otherwise you will not get to vote. Technically you will get to vote but you’ll have to go downtown to the courthouse and go through all kinds of hoops to get your vote counted, which probably almost no one will do. This is part of the conspiracy for voter fraud. The Dems are going to make sure that a lot of ballots are mailed to a lot of Democrats and a lot to Republicans and they’re going to count on Republicans not knowing what to do because this isn’t what they do. The Republicans will probably throw their ballots away and then they won’t be able to vote. This is not a rumor, this is true.”

First of all, in AZ, you have to request to vote by mail, a ballot does not just magically appear in your mail box.
Second, you can bring the mail-in-ballot to any polling place and drop it off, if you don't trust the mail.

I normally have an early voting ballot, but this year I REALLY want to vote in person. So I can just take my mail in ballot to my voting place and vote in person?

You can drop it off. Get a sticker.

I voted at the polls for a long time. I would see my parents vote by mail but never even thought about it. I got registered on the permanent early voting list and it's like WOW why did I wait so long. This is too easy. Much more convenient.

Hey Java, if you're like me, the shakes have started and you're on the 3rd pot.

You might want to look into how many mail carriers have been cought trashing ballots based on zip codes, yard signs and bumper stickers.

Next, research how your ballot gets to the county. The post office doesn't deliver them. They get tossed in a bin and someone from the county, or a party operative picks them up.

Once at the county, they are opened and signatures verified. They are not supposed to be counted, but almost always are and that information is given to parties for there polling data, get out vote efforts and harvest efforts.

Remember the special election for the one cent sales tax Jan wanted in 09? My friend Dan and I worked the polls handing out stickers in the Mission district. It was one yes or no question and it was easy to see how people voted as they slid the ballot in and I can tell you only a hand full of voters who showed up voted for it. I left at 6:30 with 327 votes on the machine.

When the election was over and precincts counted and published, the Mission district was 600 something for it and 300 something against. Basically it boiled down to every mail in ballot was for, and every in person against. That's impossible! And that was the last time I even bothered to vote.

Getting back to the OP, there was a mailing sent out that kind of looked like a ballot but wasn't. A few people looked at it, didn't bother taking a longer look and decided it was a real ballot, then did the Chicken Little thing. I got one and took the extra 2 or 3 minutes to see what it really was.

It's a nothing burger.

Links? Court filings? Any proof at all? Or are you referring to the 2016 story that was debunked?

No party will be harvesting any of my information because I am an independent. I'm not too worried about a postal worker messing with my ballot.

Trump suggested mailing in your ballot, and also voting in person to make sure your vote is counted.
And then you get a visit from the feds for voter fraud
If you are convicted of a felony you lose your voting privileges also.

Paraphrasing here but I think he said vote by mail early but check the polling place to make sure the vote was tabulated and if it wasn't vote. That seems a bit different than vote twice.

He wouldn't encourage us to commit a felony.

I was wrong when I said the feds will come after you. Voting laws are enforced by the states. It is a class 5 felony

Especially when you have all the out of state University Students committing perjury and swearing they are Arizona residents and then the county recorders in Coconino, Maricopa and Pima counties sending blank ballots to the same addresses the students used after the students have left and the Democrats harvesting those ballots to drop in the box at the polling stations on election day so the signature are not verified.
