Wind chill temps will be 15 below zero here on Friday. It will be below freezing till Sunday afternoon but at least no ice storm with this one. Filled the generator, hauled in the fire wood.

It snowed I think 3 times over almost 50 years in Phoenix. We get snow every year and ice storms and the winter apocalypse 2 years ago. I miss nice warm AZ winters. I guess it could be worse. I could winter in the pan handle. I'm about 45 miles north of downtown Dallas. Road miles anyways.

We've had about 38 inches of rain this year but I miss summer desert rains too. Nothing smells like a desert rain storm.

Merry Christmas to all you zonies. I won't be back in AZ for a couple more months so I won't see the folks I usually see this time of year. Finishing up on some throat cancer treatment. Never smoked hardly drink and it got me but Thanks to covid and a sore throat I caught it very early. My onky covid symptoms were a sore throat and stuffy nose so I knew what my throat looked like then and when I got another sore throat 2 months later I noticed a little dot. It was cancer.

As you get older don't ignore little health issues. They could kill you.

Again Merry Christmas. It's not about santa clause or reindeer.

Normally mid 50s to 60 during the day lows in the mid to low 30s. Maybe some rain.

Last year we had a couple warm days at that time.

You should check couple weeks in advance just to be sure cause the swings in weather here can be crazy. Like below freezing one day and pushing 80 a couple days later.
