I really want to make the right choice for Governor

At first glance I really like Lake, but also have been looking at Robson. When I see articles like this one it can have an impact on my trust for a candidate. I know people can change their loyalties and affiliations but it still gives me pause.

How does everyone else weed through the flotsam of this?
