Kinda would like to see some of this in American politics. Right there on the senate floor.

Extraordinary moment Bolivian politicians trade punches, pull hair and roll around the floor as brawl breaks out between the ruling party and opposition over the detention of ex-president Anez

Funny but .. in the areas I lived in where popping off might get you punched in the face or worse ... Pretty civil.

In the areas I lived in that were more "upscale" and had people with a higher level of Education and full of liberals.... rudest Mother F******'s you ever want to meet. The possibility of being punched in the face wasnt real to them so ....

I would love to see that sort of thing here, the passion for your ideology embodied in battle. Hell yea. I've watched other country's legislature do similar, and it's always a happy moment to see so. My thought, they should set up a ring or cage in Congress and let them battle it out instead of all the behind the scenes, who gets paid, who gets the appointment, etc., etc..

We actually have a history of this happening. In 1856, Congressman Preston Brooks of South Carolina beat abolitionist Senator Charles Sumner of Massachusetts with a walking stick.

from wikipedia:

Brooks was arrested for the assault. He was tried in a District of Columbia court, convicted, and fined $300 ($8,640 in today's dollars), but received no prison sentence. A motion for Brooks' expulsion from the House failed, but he resigned on July 15 in order to permit his constituents to ratify or condemn his conduct via a special election. They approved; Brooks was quickly returned to office after the August 1 vote, and then re-elected to a new term of office later in 1856, but he died of croup before the new term began.

And we can never forget Burr

But I'm for no gun play and just seeing one of our elected heros reach over and offer a good smack to the mouth.

You really feel passionate about it .. offer up some scrapes and bruises and offer to take some.

I'm bored with American politics. Not even any witty cutting quips. Just a bunch of fugin whinning and self flagellation.

The women in our system seem to be the most vocal. I think AOC folds like a flower at first signs of fisticuffs but Nancy ... As old as she is might leave some marks.

Couple other females that might get to fiesty fists and would make it interesting.

The men.. I don't see any rushing across the aisle to dish out some lumps.

I don't know. Am I missing someone.

Shummer, Rand Paul, McConnell nah no way ... I don't know .. maybe Cruz but he is in no shape to throw hands and he has a biting tongue but I don't see him launching over a table to get at someone.

Yea ... Enough not so harsh rhetoric.

They fight every day amongst themselves with lawyers and subpoenas. Thats where fist fights would end up any way so they just go right to the lawyers etc....sometimes they were called lawmakers, sometimes lawbreakers but always answer to most any label you want to stick on them. They might not get caught or deny subpoenas but I believe they all did about 65% of what they are accused of all of em.

99% of our rulers would not have the guts to raise a hand in anger.
They sure don't have any problem having others do their dirty work.
