I'm grateful for threads like this asking how our candidate lost. I hope WW White is not inferring that there was election fraud in 2016???? I surmise from the 2020 election evidence that suburban females in key voting districts broke from their husbands due to finding former President Trump (or their former husbands) no longer palatable to their sensitivities rather than voter fraud.
Is there some credible proof of election fraud that I am missing? I'd regain the faith I was once willing to ascribe to this causality from being able to evaluate a strong pending legal case with empirical evidence that people are clinging onto because advocacy of such claims seem to have purposely devolved into thought terminating cliche (i.e. "how can it not be", "you will see", "it is always unfair for our side", "people are saying", etc.), baseless anecdotal allegations that have gotten their creators and perpetuators into real legal and financial jeopardy ("2000 mules" lawsuit progressing as of 10-2-23, Dominion Fox settlement and Newsmax next, Georgia racketeering case now with 3 guilty pleas from persons who now have to admit and apologize for GOP election misconduct). It has been almost 3 years since the election and over 2 years since we were all confidently assured that recounts, investigation, Cyber Ninjas, & Rudy's Ukraine evidence would provide "irrefutable" proof of the alleged election fraud. I find it unrealistic to still believe years afterward that the story of the century could be buried by the media or any political party for this long.
I totally understand that it is hard to accept that an old codger with a speech impediment could beat an energetic candidate that could draw a crowd. But it is equally as perplexing to see rational adults embrace the "Grateful Dead" obsessed music fan train of thought that believes that the most best music belongs to the band that draws consistent crowds that share parking lot comradery and a zeal to wear/display tasteless merchandise. Does anyone actually know a Democrat that has ever attended to a political rally for any candidate? I have known plenty of Democrats over the years in my former academia career and not one of them has ever attended a rally or campaign event - comradery in the Democratic Party is rare - as their reliance upon allowing every crackpot fantasy that could never work in the real world into their tent has them at odds with one another almost immediately! I've countlessly enjoyed placing former workmates at each others throats within seconds by simply asking what policies and lines they would draw around their liberties for enacting any of their fantasies of racial reparations, abortion, gun control, immigration, gender, or universal healthcare... the only thing I miss from academia... how incredibly easy it is to unhinge "the learned" from their progressive fallacies by simply letting them try to describe how they would actually do it.
Every shred of evidence from news sources that have historical patterns of responsible journalism, like those that document retraction of their reported inaccuracies, points to a narrow loss for former President Trump in 2020 at this time. I propose that our candidate confront President Biden with HOW he intends to do any of the progressive crackpot B.S. and we the voters focus upon bringing our women back into the conversation, cut the childish and tasteless vitriol from our lexicon and branding, as well as approach those who long for constructive political cohesion rather than victimization theories that support the level of ineptitude of being unable to even elect a Speaker of the House.
