And the House Judiciary Bolsheveks NEVER, EVER EFFING GIVE UP. Gonna try to jam this SCHITE through before midterms. How many Senate RINOs led by Mittens-UT will bend over and "Thank you sir, may I have another?" Putting my faith in Manchin and/or Sinema...? How completely efed up is that?

SENATE IS PROBABLY GOING TO PASS THIS CRAP.
NO DOUBT THIS WILL END UP IN THE SCOTUS, MAY BE A LONG TIME BFORE IT HITS THE DOCKET.

“(C) the possession, by an individual who is retired in good standing from service with a law enforcement agency and is not otherwise prohibited from receiving a firearm, of a semiautomatic assault weapon—

Hmm, there's that 14th amendment violation I've been screaming about.

Have a great, gun carryin', Kenpo day

They passed that shit with razor thin margins 217-213.

With those numbers that makes a lot of those in the senate nervous. If they had it locked up the numbers would be that much higher.

I don’t care I’m with Joey. I’ll make my shit how the good Lord intended if they want to play these stupid games.

The vote on Friday night was largely but not entirely along party lines.

House Democrats Henry Cuellar of Texas, Jared Golden of Maine, Ron Kind of Wisconsin, Vicente Gonzalez of Texas, and Kurt Schrader of Oregon broke party lines to vote against the ban.

Meanwhile, House Republicans Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania and Chris Jacobs of New York broke party lines to vote yes.

Well, I have ZERO expectation that the Senate will not pass this. I have every expectation that they will. In fact, Sinema will set herself up to ride to the rescue with the deciding vote.

So get your mags topped off, your supplies checked and your gear ready. It's about to start.

The votes are already cast, but you gotta watch this debate between the bill sponsor, Cicilline D-RI (an entirely new level of arsehattery - or, more likely, willful ignorance) and Massie R-KY (trying and failing to fix stupid) over the FACT that AR braces CANNOT effect the weapon's rate of fire... Even my jaded self was taken aback by the complete and utter DC stupidity on prideful display.
