History teacher discovers his Gen Z students don't know who HITLER is

Same kids who were screaming trump is racist but had no explanation of how they arrived at that.

Glad I'm just a stupid spic from the projects.

Shows the competence level of today's teachers doesn't it?

I don't know. Possibly but I'm blaming all the dumb stuff that is being forced into the syllabus. A ton of feel good social conditioning courses which use valuable time. That and the feel good " no one gets left back" and "grades make people feel bad." To wild to watch.

Yeah, I did my Junior and Senior High School in a school that didn't flunk anybody that showed up on a regular basis, especially if they were minorities.

On test days, they'd put their name and date on the test and nothing more. For that they got a D- but passed.

That was caused by the parents, though. If you flunked their kids, they'd start screaming racism, so their kids passed.

Then they get a High School Diploma, go out into the world and can't understand why they can't get a job when they read, write and speak about like 5 year old asian kids.

These kids got an auto-pass throughout their education due to race, but now that they can't get a job after "completing" their education, do to racism...

makes sense...

Not really related but true. When teaching naval electronics at the first stop on their journey I had students (entire classes) of Saudis and Iranians. The aramis cologne did not help one bit. Back to the story, they came here for some intensive language then a year or so of electronics. 1980s completely computerized testing required 100% to go on to the next module. They with the exception of 1 or 2 failed 100% of the time. They had 3 tries then we had a computer code to override the fail. Each student made money (a lot) for the navy schools. They were in for the duration with not even a basic understanding of english. Then they went home to work on their U.S. supplied "things". All the retiring instructors got very high paying jobs as contractors to actually fix "things". They gutted the barracks when they left, their barracks was similar to a nice holiday inn with carpet etc, could not be made habitable.
Seems our kids are on that program too, where will they hire contractors, oh wait robots!
