Any of you who own the RIA TAc ultra FS HC 9/TCM combo find an OWB kydex holster with the closed belt loops style?
I’ve seen a couple with one belt clip, and I much prefer the belt loops style to spread the load out, especially with this beast.
I was reading on the ever-so-reliable internet somewhere that RIA makes those double stack railed frames for STI, which may explain why the action on these babies is velvety smooth.
If not, I think I may have to hit Boriqua up for a kick ass one of a kind custom holster. There’s your fair warning Alex.
To be clear this is the model I own.....

And while I’m at it, are there any 1911 smiths that could fit a single side thumb safety on these, that don’t have an 8 month wait time?

Have one they are a nice gun. I'm not so sure they make all the sti frames, there was one done for the sti spartan back in the day

Yes, the cheaper Spartan single stack had the major parts (frame/slide/bbl etc..) made outside the US and then they were brought in and finished with US made small parts (pins/ignition system) QC'd and then sold as a cheaper alternative to their made in Texas SS, the Trojan. I still have my Spartan and it is still running great along with my made in Texas doublestack 2011's.

Had the single stack 9/22TCM and it wouldn't feed reliably, so I got impatient and sold it instead of sending it to NV. Glad I was impatient- Took the HC to work last night and put about 80 rounds through it between four people. One guy had three jams, hope is was just his Magtech brass, although it runs in the beat up range guns. But love this velvety smooth shooter.
Any 1911 aficionados please go to the sights forum, to help me with some knowledge on my sight dilemma. The sights on this are barely substandard to me.

Not sure I understand the problem.
STI and RIA 1911s fit all standard 1911 holsters, whether single stack or double stack.
No?

I think its because of the model he was talking about. The RIA Ultra FS models have the full length rail and heavy frame. It makes it hard to find a properly fitted holster. I have a RIA TAC Ultra FS in 10mm and its similar to the Les Baer Monolith where the dust cover of the frame extends all the way to the end of the barrel making the frame too thick to fit in most 1911 holsters.

Ummm, yes, I guess I haven't physically tried it yet, but aren't the double stack frames wider?, and the rail all the way to the end isn't really typical 1911? Technically it's a 2011, which STI came up with anyway, from what I've read.
And I'm not in the mood to mail multiple holsters back and forth because they don't fit

Have Wepleadthe2d in Tempe make a custom holster for it
Will do, I had one of theirs for a G43, and it was solid.
Good call though, I called them and they said if it doesn’t fit what they make, they’ll keep it to make a holster for it. I think I’ve found a holster
