Gun-control advocates said Friday they’re planning to replicate their success in Virginia in other states. John Feinblatt, president of Everytown for Gun Safety, said his group plans to spend heavily in key battleground states this year like Arizona...

When they do start making a big stink about implementing more gun control laws in AZ, we need to make more noise than the antigun people do. Hopefully, we all of the sudden have a ton more first-time gun owners to fight this battle with us, or maybe that's wishful thinking.

One absolute certainty is that they won't stop coming. Because of that, we have to be consistently vocal about maintaining our rights.

60-80% or more of those panic buyers are people who don't support gun rights. They are doing it out of fear, and view it as a temporary "necessary evil." These people, soon as the covid hysteria is done will get rid of the firearms, or throw them in a box in the closet and continue voting anti-2A and will not change their political stance. I encountered a ton of these people last panic, and have several acquaintances/coworkers/etc - and none of them have changed their political views, despite my efforts. I bought a handgun from one of these type people last panic. The whole time I am inspecting, they were giving their "guns are bad, mkay" and expressing their wishes of a "no gun America." Yet they had no issue recovering some of the money they spent on their panic purchase. Predictably, the firearm was never fired and included one full box of the cheapest ammo they could find. Logic does not apply to these people, as their entire belief system is dictated by media, celebrity, and hashtag activism.

That means as 2A supporters we can't count on any extra help and still have to contact our politicians and support the groups that help us.

Oh, I'm sure that's a good deal of the new gun buyers. There's a whole spectrum of gun views from anti-gun to pro 2A with a lot of nuance in between. I think some of these people can be won over, but I agree that the majority will probably do as you mentioned. I think the only chance of winning anyone over (that isn't already on the fence) is probably with people in your own network that you can talk to and maybe lure our shooting to get them comfortable with their firearm and then go from there. Again, maybe wishful thinking.

Regardless of whether or not more 2A supporters are gained, I agree that we need to keep taking any necessary steps to defend our rights.

For those people that do sell their guns while trying to lecture you about "guns are bad", shame on those hypocrites! It's so crazy that they can see gun rights as a temporary need and then immediately go back to trying to dismantle the constitution. Like you said... Logic does not apply to these people.

This needs to happen at the headquarters of antifa. I believe, isn't it Seattle?

Most of the people within the Jewish community that I know seem more hyperaware of things that could strip away their power and leave them vulnerable exactly because of the Holocaust. It's crazy that people are so quickly forgetting the lessons of the past.

We have the lessons of Hitler's Germany to look to when defending our 2nd amendment rights. First, they implemented a gun registry, and eventually, they made guns illegal. The penalty for breaking the law and keeping a firearm was execution, and they knew who had the firearms after the registry, so turning them in wasn't much of a choice.

We can look at what happened to the Jews, but I don't know if anything like that had been done before that they knew to look out for this. What I'm saying is, I'm not sure they were just timid little you know whats like you mentioned. I think they just stripped away their power systematically in baby steps so that they didn't know what was happening until it was too late.

We can’t take this sh!t laying down, stay in touch with our Senators, Congress people, State Reps, and Vote!

I get The Brady Campaign's emails. They used to only send out stuff occasionally, but beginning March 21st (yeah, I went and checked my email logs), they started bombarding EVERY SINGLE DAY with some sort of hysteria that always ends with begging for money. Basically, they saw how average people whom they considered as "theirs" were out buying guns and threw the Brady organization into a philosophical panic. They aren't making this move because its a smart one,...they're making it because they see it as SURVIVAL of their agenda, which just took major damage.

That's what I like to hear! Thanks for the heads up. I just subscribed to their site to stay in the loop as well.

Every Demonscat Socialis/Communist agenda , since Trumps election, has turned around and bit them on the arse. I don't expect anything different with this one. Even their Coronavirus panic doomsday hype has hit the shit list of most Americans. They can only push an armed Patriot society so far,.... and then the cards will fall where they will!
