gotta hand it to Midway

Decided to order up some more powder. Dont entirely need it "right now" but had some extra money so thought I would bolster up a little.

Ordered it from Midway yesterday morning ... UPS notification this morning ... will be delivered Thursday!!

With seemingly every company on the net having their home page festooned with banners about how because of the Covid they will have 10 days delayed shipping it was nice to see midway on the ball even if I didn't need the stuff in a hurry.

I recently ordered some bullets from Midway, they shipped that same weekend and arrived within a few days...

As always, I count them because in the past I have had several 'light' shipments... this one was also a little under, and I called Midway to voice my findings... within a few days a box of bullets arrived to make-up the shortage. Thank you, Midway.

I guess their scales are near a magnetic vortex but they make it good when you notice...

Midway has always been a stand up company. Sometimes not the best prices to be found but the customer service has always been one of the best in the business.

I'll second what stomp442 said. I have never had a bad experience with Midway but their prices are typically higher than anywhere else I usually shop but they are rarely out of stock on items.

The last three orders I got were priced right along with everyone else and .. so far ... After how many years .. no funkiness with delivery or service. Picked up 3000 primers just before the craziness got crazier but was still crazy and they didnt bump the price which I thought was commendable.

I will say however .. the spokesperson/owner videos on youtube however creep me the hell out!! :shifty:

If Mr. Rogers had an evil twin that wanted to snatch my organs for sale on the black market ... yea

Got a delivery from them last week. Some stuff was on clearance and I couldn’t resist 70% off. Even got free shipping with a coupon I found online. Then a few days ago I got an in stock notice on a handgun I’ve been hunting for. Good guys at Midway held the regular price with free shipping while others, looking at you Northwest Armory in Scottsdale, have Bumped Up the price $300 or more. Getting deliver tomorrow.

I lived in Hawaii for the last 11+ years before moving here in April. Midway treated us in Hawaii like an orphaned stepchild when it came to their shipping when they first changed over to their new shipping system a few years back. They would cancel orders and say they couldn’t ship to me even though it was going to come USPS. They finally straightened things out but it took them more than a year to do so.

As far as their CS is concerned I agree it has always been good. Especially when I needed to return an upper that was not headspaced properly from the factory. They paid for the shipping back and sent me a new item. No questions just got it done.

Recently, since moving here, I was looking for some casting supplies which no one had in stock. So I asked to be informed when things did come back into stock. I got the notice, went to the website and ordered the items. No price increases and free shipping. The items took about a week to get here including their packing/processing time.
