"Goat Guns" - my wife got me several of them; pretty cool toys - mini review

I had heard of these, but never saw one in person. She got me the "supply crate" of them which is 10 different models. I was skeptical, but I've put together a couple and these are actually really cool. The amount of attention to detail and quality is very high. They are partly functional; for example, you can pull the charging handle on the AR and the dust cover opens, the bolt retracts and snaps forward when released. They are pretty much all metal, so they even sound cool when you do that - especially the Barrett. The mags take the rounds that are included (they don't chamber into the barrel though). The M203 I have on the M4 actually opens and has a grenade in it that you can remove. Can also put the suppressor on the M4. They are all modular, so you can move accessories around from one gun to another if they are common platforms; like changing an AR stock, using a shorter "SBR" barrel, swap grips, different sights/scopes, mags, etc. Overall, very cool toys to play around with and use to display at my desk/office.

Essentially. I have the AR version. Removeable mag that accepts model cartridges, functioning charging handle, and dust cover.
