I think he was already looking at a possible run in the next election and how well he would be received but .. WE have to deal with the aftermath of this mess. One of the down sides of not having a politician as our president. He didnt realize the consequences of the chess move he had set in motion and Pelosi jumped on it like a fat man on a hamburger.
I don't think he will be considering running again at all. He did his 4 years, and it was a controversial one that has secured his book deals, paid speaking tour, and merchandising. Trump isn't a politician - he is a skeevy businessman and the last 4 years will be good for business. Running again will be of no financial / fame benefit to him so he won't care. All he did his 4 years for "us" basically amounts to entertaining us with his tweets.

No, they played their voters as stupid. They knew the Democrats were going to pull this. They don't care because I hate to break it to you - politicians will do whatever they must to preserve their career, donors, and connections. The GOP played it the same way they always do. This is obvious in the inaction they took the last four years, as well as the inaction they took during this "election."

My hope .. the dems have gone out to lunch. The new gender neutral nonsense is over the top and its the tip of the iceberg. I dont think things need to stay the same forever and yes some thing need change but they dont do incremental change ever, They go full retard.
They can go off the reservation - and it won't matter. They are leveraging their voters 10000% better than the GOP. Their voters will vote blindly as long as they are assured they can be important on social media, get their starbucks even when jobless, and be "woke." The undecided will just vote via who is most popular on their social media.
You honestly think that a whole generation of voters who think their lives depend on social media will vote for the party trying to regulate their most precious personal resource? The Democrats pander to that base perfectly, while the GOP is threatening Facebook / Google / etc the Democrats are using the platform to create voters that are so blindly single-minded they will never vote GOP.

We have the midterms in two years. Unless they plan on buying elections again .. I don't think your average American red or blue is going to like Crazy town and vote accordingly. Even with TDS the right lost by the slimmest of margins and we gained seats. America was already fed up with crazy town and then ....
Of course they will buy it, as they know that works. The GOP will let them because it is in their best interest to allow it and not "rock the boat."

Can of worms that never should have been opened but America's memory is short and crazy town wont be so attractive come midterms and .... the other shoe hasn't dropped yet on Chinese Flu. Bills are still to come due and pain will follow. Antifa is not going away and riots will continue and the right has woken up and is out protesting in force. I sincerely hope the left has a viable plan but if not .... Crazy Town is going to get old fast.
It is already old, and it is only going to get crazier. The only way anything changes is by the impossible (massive flushing/overhaul of the current system.)
I wanted Trump to win, even though he is a complete stooge - as a stooge is better than a biden.
However this election cycle paints a perfect picture of the future and emphasizes that the GOP is nothing but a party of self-preservation of candidates personal politics, power, and wealth.
The 4 years of the Trump presidency - how hard did the Democrats try to ruin him? The amount of effort was historic. How hard did the GOP fight? They put forth about 4% of the effort the Democrats did. That should tell you everything you need to know. "We" weren't beaten by the Democrats - we were betrayed by the GOP. The Democrats did exactly what "we" knew they would, and "our" party literally just let it happen. This goes double for Georgia. The GOP knew the playbook, and did anything happen? Nope.
The most ironic part of this whole mess is that the people who's lives will not be changed a single bit by who is in office are the most active/vocal/etc with elections. The people who's lives will be impacted (especially in regards to the 2A) are the ones who sit back and do nothing.
I would be willing to bet a substantial amount of money that if you took a survey of voters - 10000 "woke" social media obsessed Democratic supporters, and 10000 freedom lovin' gun totin' types you would find that the Wokers are 50% more politically active and have a much higher turnout of actually voting.
If any new gun control is passed in the next 4 years - our only weapon is massive non-compliance.
