To achieve the light trigger in the 2011 they don't use a firing pin block. Cool video though.

My only complaint is,...couldn't they have at least put down some cardboard on that concrete? I mean, that would have still been a sharp enough impact for a valid testing protocol, but wouldn't have buggered up those nice guns so badly.yikes.jpg
 
Interesting that only Browning 1991-patterns fired.
Not that a round straight down would be likely to do much damage, but still it's not what you want.
I'm a 1911 guy, and suddenly I am more interested in the 80-Series firing pin safety.
