I'll disagree that Cronkite would NEVER agree with any of the press to be silenced, like what is happening in the U.S. Congress today.

No, but his opinion should have been called for what it was.
Between him and Peter Arnette, they changed the course of the Viet Nam war by presenting their opinion as facts.
They said the war was lost right after our major win during Tet.
Millions of viewers saw that and believed it, hell some of our military command believed them.
Add to that all the fake war crimes they said were being perpetrated (never mind what the VC did to our people), stir with a little Jane Fonda treason, and yeah.
The media found out at that time how they could shape public opinion, never mind the facts.
I think that two faced f*** would have no problem silencing dissenting opinion, as long as he wasn’t the one it happened to.

Ok don't hold back and tell me how you really feel . We are in agreement with the above mentioned, but they ARE silencing conservative voices and we WILL only have state run media if this doesn't get stopped.

There needs to a free press for both sides. Just because I can't stand what they're spewing out of their mouths, I do not believe they should be shut down.

Once only one side can control the info, nothing good can come from it for the people.
