I would argue that a 55gr chunk of lead traveling at 3,100 fps is also an acceptable form of lethal injection. If you are fine with the death penalty (I am... and I think it should be applied much faster), they why do you care how it is carried out? There are hundreds of drugs that will kill a person quickly...you can simply inject an overdose of morphine until they stop breathing...no need for other fancy drug coctails.
