I expect the Biden administration will make a big deal out of this one because he had a brace on it.

That's horrible.
Prayers go out for his family.

Only one article I found say's the guy had a criminal history .

Cueva had “violent criminal history,” including drug trafficking charges, but not in New Mexico, Thornton said.

I am sure that will never come up when the gun grabbers start their propaganda.
They will only talk about the arm brace and that it was on an AR assault weapon.

Apparently, the feds were following this guy and they asked this poor dude to stop him just to check him out. I grew up in Las Cruces. You would not believe the amount of drugs that get moved and/or stored there before having to pass through BP checkpoints.

If you're on Instagram, av_designs2 posted the whole shooting. Some of you maybe interested in seeing it, some of you may not.
That is your choice. It is a pretty graphic execution

It's also on YouTube in a channel called Boring Media Group but you need an account and have to sign in. It's about 13 minutes long.

Thanks for posting that. That was very sobering to watch.

From what I have read, Homeland Security bears some responsibility for this cop getting shot as they didn't inform the trooper that this guy is always armed and an extremely dangerous individual.

I’d agree. They sent him in blind. At like 8:35 the HSI guy said “f***, man. I f***in wondered.” I didn’t read the background until after but it put that comment in context. They clearly thought the guy was capable of killing the cop. I get anything can happen during a traffic stop, but when you’re sending someone to stop a guy you know is on his way to what I assume is decent-sized dope deal, has a lengthy criminal history, and is likely armed, it seems like a heads up should be in order.

Sad for the police officer's life and the family knowing he was just doing his thing without expecting anything bad to happen.

Pretty sure this is the same incident

Yes, same incident. There's footage of this from another angle(across the street) but that's first I've seen from body cam.
