I went to a boujie little restaurant Friday night. I parked in a closed church parking lot about a half-block away. (No, the bum was not there when I pulled -in, LOL.) Came back to find a thick chain-lock wrapped around my left front wheel, and a Gotcha! sticker on my driver-side window. I said "WTF?" and began to look around. I saw the sign 7' up left ohf the doors. Talk about FINE PRINT, Jeez! Three spaces over to my right, there was a sign with the QR code to scan.

I had to pay $150 on a credit card to call and get the combo for the lock. Then, there's a box bolted to a fence in their lot. Once they retrieve the lock, they credit-back $60 to your card. Thankfully, I disputed the other $90 to get it removed.

Look closely, fellas....

Screw that. Swap the tire for the spare, and cut the chain off. Or, Uber to the closest Home Depot and buy a set of bolt cutters.
