Double Postings? - Update FIXED!

Noticed my last couple of postings appear to not post so I try again only to realize I made a double or even triple post.

Anyone else having this issue?

Most likely your connection to the webserver entering potato mode.

I have been getting the same thing. Like an issue with the site, or there wouldn't be multiple people experiencing the same thing.

See above. I try to post and screen goes blank.

Hit refresh and get the “do you want to submit form again” it goes to the advance/preview page.

As I was posting that I got this page




If I hit cancel I get the blank screen. If I hit submit I get a double post.

If I hit “preview” it takes my post and rearranges what was written.

I’ve tried deleting cookies and resetting device.

This is the only forum I’m having this problem.

Hey admin, same thing i sent you last week. Blank white screen after a post, error. Even shows your post as unread.

Not getting a notice of being quoted too.

It's been happening for the past week or so...often a delay upon loading the next screen. I've noticed it on mobile and desktop Firefox. I'll click a topic link, then the next page will just load...and load...and load...until I hit refresh and then it instantly loads to full page. Same thing Doc is experiencing when posting a comment, I've experienced several times in the past week. I guess I'm just smart enough not to hit 'submit' again. Not the first time I've experienced this phenomenon on this forum, I doubt it will be the last time.

The only thing that's changed in the last week is moving php versions on the server. I will restart the server today, but I can't replicate the issue myself. I will look into it though. I can see 500 level errors are occurring.

I have been getting that a lot lately.

I reverted the PHP version and restarted the server. Let's see if that helps with the 500 errors.

I was getting an error page when I hit "submit". But if I hit back, then refresh, my comment was there posted.

A simple refresh is all it takes for me.
