Just curious. I know some of us prefer the oldschool forums like back in the early 2000's but do we have a facebook group as well? I'm on a number of other forums that a lot of members are on the faceballs as well.

No. I don't do Facebook for several reasons, but I do have the social media linkback buttons added so that you can easily reference topics back to several platforms. Don't want to manage a FB page for this as well as the forums. Also, I (we) retain MUCH more control over this site and content if it resides here. The data on this forum will never be lost. Backups are done multiple times per day and we are not using a shared server environment.

I wouldn't say I like Facebook because it strikes on everything related to guns. I appreciate my time and not going to support a social media that blocks my account for my personal preferences. It's like working for free, some may like it, but some, like me, find something more profitable and convenient. Recently I like how TikTok supports our community and let us manifest our point of view. I started an account about 3 months ago and want to develop it for more people to see that guns are not bad if normal people own them. I also use famoid.com to grow my audience and have more likes on my videos.

Truth... I'm part of a couple of platform specific groups (e.g. M1 Carbine or CZ Shadow 2 groups) and everyone has to step very carefully - or the mods catch hell from big brother...

I think you are probably right. The one "benefit" to AZS could be to attract a broader swath of Arizona shooters to this group. That said - I'd say that the juice ain't worth the squeeze...
