Re Ruger Blackhawk 357 that i've owned for 8 yrs but never fired. Got it new in a warranty replacement from Ruger, but never took it out to shoot till a few days ago when I was surprised that it wouldn't cock nor even move into the secondary position.
Not one who forces things, I opted to disassemble it consulting the above mentioned manual, and expected to find maybe some faulty or broken parts.
To my amazement, while this manual led me into enough to allow the parts to fall apart, it glossed over the reassembly relationships between the trigger, hammer, and ejector gate assemblies, so I went online for help.
The U tube first up on this matter is from a guy who knew what he was talking about, but spoke as a hayseed so much that I had to put it on Closed Caption to read, while even that misunderstood what he was trying to say!
So, while we're blessed with web solutions ( U Tube, etc.) maybe we should test our diction to ensure that our delivery matches the worthwhile message we want to convey, and maybe have someone stand in for the narrative (???)
