Did something just happen at Arrowhead Mall?

My wife just got there and said there are a TON of people all over, police all over putting crime scene tape all over and the mall is closed for the day because of whatever happened...

Wow... whatever it was, glad my wife and daughter didn't get there 10 minutes sooner. Seems that no one knows what's going on yet. No news on site yet either, but whatever happened seems to be a REALLY big deal.

I bet Twitter has info sooner than the news. Nothing yet though other than people asking the same questions. Some suggesting a shooter/shooting, some said a fire (no fire trucks though, so far, per my wife).

I bet Twitter has info sooner than the news.

That's the one thing I miss about being on Twitter. I always found out what was happening in the news so much sooner.

Employees are commenting on twitter that they were told to leave due to an "active threat". Not clear whether they were referring to a bomb or shooter. People have asked Police, but they will not comment.

GPD is working a security threat at Arrowhead Towne Center. The mall has been evacuated while police work to secure the area. We are asking people to avoid the area at this time.
