Anyone get damage from them or get to see 'em? I know they were weak but still.

I've been thru a couple in AZ. One destroyed the handball courts at the prison and came on so fast I had to dive into the showers to get away. The handball courts were solid concrete. Even with no 4th side or roof that's still pretty strong.

The first one I saw in TX went thru near down town Dallas. I saw lots of boxes floating up in the air like trash in a dust devil.

But they wernt boxes. Watching video I noticed they were 40 foot box truck trailers and shipping containers thrown up a hundred feet and floating like paper in the wind.

Heres part of the video. Pretty cool in a wrath of god kinda way.

I hope everyone there is ok.

I even saw one South of Fairbanks Alaska many years ago. Spooky things.

I was driving the work truck from phx to tucson friday morning. Passing between eloy and CG around 530am and it was nuts. Quarter size hail was coming across the road almost horizontal. Couldnt see the lane dividers at all with pretty deep spots of standing water. Wind was pushing us all over. Serious pucker. traffic was light luckily and everyone was down to 30mph for a few miles.

We don't have 'tornadoes' here in AZ, they're bad for our inflated property values. The official newspeak term is 'microbursts', even if there's a funnel cloud heading for a trailer park, it is still a 'microburst' 😄

How True - But the AZ Chamber of Commerce needs to have conversation with the National Weather Service. They were the ones that made the Tornado Call Friday Morning.

Yep, got an emergency alert on my cell for this. One was at Williams Field Rd./202 which is around 2 miles from my house.
