Critter filled engine bay with black walnuts

I had a customer's GTO up on the rack, it had been to a few shops and no one could figure out why it was running like crap.

I did a quick check of the usual - plugs / wires / carb / etc - even went as far as a compression test. All was OK.

While it was up in the air I took a little hammer and was tapping on the exhaust - and sure enough one muffler on the dual exhaust sounded different. Tink...tink.....tink.....thud.....

Cut it off - and sure enough some enterprising small critter had packed it full of dog food, plant debris, and other stuff. Welded on a new muffler and problem solved. Still have pictures somewhere. The critter was also in there - well smoked.

About once a year or so I get some weird unsolved issue someone brings their classic car in for - and it is a exhaust / muffer / etc packed full of critter nest.

Apparently the Chevy Avalanche is good for something after all.

I have owned 2, neither was worth keeping.
Good for something?
Yes, selling them to someone else.
