Cold steel has been sold to an outdoor equipment company.

Good news if your in the market for something cheap and cheerful is that Cold steel goods seem to be on sale everywhere right now. They were always inexpensive but there are some nice deals out there right now

Here is just one place

Just got my brother-in-law one for Christmas. You usually get what you pay for with knives, but now you can get a little bit more knife for the price.

I always kinda liked their commercials! They were goofy, but honestly I'd probably do the same thing if I made knives like that, they looked like they were enjoying themselves at least.

Some of their stuff was a little too tacti-cool for me, but they typically used decent steels and grip material. It was a few notches above your typical mall- ninja grade stuff.

Always wanted a kukri.
Why?
Why ask why?

A good kukri is one heck of a chopper. They are great for...yeah, I see your point, but you can't let that get in the way of a new knife purchase!

I met Lynn at a convention a number of years ago, and he had just returned from Africa, where he killed a cape buffalo with one of his Cold Steel spears. He was like a 10 year old kid playing with his toys, and it was obvious he loved what he did. Along with being a marketing genius for these kinds of videos, he made a quality product. I bet that won't last long now.

OK, but which one? Decisions, decisions...

Oh what the hell.
