It's not that ALL crimes committed are automatically federal crimes..it's more accurate to say that certain federal laws can be upheld on Tribal land. These are generally violent crime offenses.

If you are caught speeding on tribal land, it's not a Federal speeding ticket...it's just a speeding ticket fine you pay to the Tribe.
