Robert Findlay Smith, age 70, was charged with capital murder for the attack that occurred during a "Boomers Potluck" at St. Stephens Episcopal Church outside Birmingham Thursday evening.

Congress should raise the minimum age to buy a gun to 71.

Oh great, just what we need:
Smith lives near Cahaba Heights and police blocked off his roadway for much of Friday afternoon while they carried out a search warrant at his Sicard Hollow home. Public records show Smith is an ATF licensed firearms dealer, with a business called Original Magazines 2 on Sicard Hollow Road, which is also his home address.
Here we go.

Sat alone and didn't eat at the dinner or accept any invitations to join others, he should have been red flagged!

I did not catch it, what type of GUN are we blaming for the murders......

The guy that stopped him was another 70 something that took a folding chair to him WWE style, then took the pistol away from him and proceeded to pistol whip the guy ! Old guys sometimes rule even if they always drool 🤤

If it was an AR-15, you'd know it...it would be in the headline and all over the article. It's not, so I'm guessing it was a handgun.
