FBI investigating bomb ‘attack’ at anti-LGBTQ church in El Monte

Bureau spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said it’s too early to call it a hate crime, but “that’s always going to be considered as a theory when a house of worship is attacked,” according to the Associated Press.

While the motive remains under investigation, L.A. County Supervisor Hilda Solis said she was aware of “anti-LGBTQ+ and misogynistic sermons” given by the church’s pastor.

It wasn't an anti Lqbqturjsule church .. it was a baptist church teaching and preaching Baptist beliefs. What happened to freedom of religion?? Guess its only for some. YES I know the freedoms were guarantees against GOVERNMENT infringements but at the VERY least .. its a hate crime.

I attend none as a non believer, but the building signage said Independent and Fundamental. Fundamental I get, but independent, independent of what, church doctrine?

I wouldn't feign knowing enough about the Baptist to know what they might mean by "Independent" Like most spics I was born into and raised Catholic. I am not a practicing catholic but consider myself a christian. Growing up in NYC I probably know more about Judaism than fundamental Baptist but in the end .. to each their own.

However .. I am pretty consistent in my thoughts .. you cant run around screaming that the values or rights of the LBGTQRS are something that needs to be respected and protected as you disrespect someone else's beliefs and demand they change. Equal is equal.

The worst thing to ever happen to the Gay movement was the take over by the LDHERYTY group. I grew up knowing gay people as my mother had gay friends, I have gay family members and worked in the design field with a lot of gay people and have called people who were gay friends.

For the most part they wanted out of the closet, they wanted to be able to join in a union with someone they cared for, they wanted like most married couples to feel secure in the later years having a partner to weather old age with, someone who could make medical decisions for them and someone who they were tied to financially. All the things straight people in relationships have and personally I am all for it. When I was a young guy I knew an older gay couple that had been together probably 30+ years. One got sick and the other couldn't visit him in the hospital because it was family only. I think that is BS.

having said that .. they did themselves a disservice by allowing their movement to be subverted with this transgender crap, cis whatever, non binary something or other.

Freak of the week BS when all they wanted was to be able to be as committed and miserable as every other married couple.

Know what I would do if a house of worship had a sign out front that says .. White power church no spics are welcome" find another church. There is nothing inside of a church I think I have a right to.

There is a very small Church .. looks like its home based .. just a little bit up the road calls itself (primitive Baptist)

Im easy .. went out with a Black girl for a hot 5 minutes and of course had to go to church on Sunday with her and it was a baptist church. Compared to Catholic church service .. I thought it was a blast!!!

I was a member of one of those churches when I was a teen, they are indeed interesting and can be alot of fun.
