How long do we need to wait or how many need to be shot before the wall or at least control is put in place at the border. I am surprised more have not been shot.

The US has only around 900 miles of true operational control of the border. The Mexican government has less than500 miles of operational control on their side and that is questionable when you take into account corrupt units and officials. If you ever get a chance to stand on the senic drive above El Paso at night and watch into Juarez....wow ! Looks like the old days of Beirut!
