For all of us who actually pay attention to this crap, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. Lots of smoke and steam, no fire. While it might be fun to see Hunter over the coals and see Joe get tangled up in the mess .... This news doesn't make me happy.
Is this really how we want our government to work now. Have they solved all other problems already? Are we living in some idyllic utopia yet.
Nope. But 4 years of chasing trump through hearings because the republicans owned the white house now two years of chasing Biden because the dems own the white house. Its a stupid cycle. Is this now normal governance? How about inflation, China, crime, homelessness, the border, the drug epidemic and the thousand things that really require attention. No, lets continue tit for tat politics. America is in a sad state. Not a good look for the world super power.

The smart Republicans ( balls or no balls, some are women), do not charge into a loosing encounter. Going after Hunter, with Congressional investigations, is fruitless (a looooosing proposition), dumb and will only alienate those potential voters that we need in 2024. Smart Republicans (with balls and not) need to focus on making America for the average person..better. That is a winning formula.
Now, if all you pseudo-hawks that want Hunter, forget your feelings.. PLEASE.. (yeah.. So.. I agree, Hunter is a bad guy. I somewhat agree, the Big Guy, should be incarserated and FOR sure the Demorat's cheat/steal/lie, but I think we, especially as gun owners, need to look at the big picture and work on winning solutions.

Again, I'm not saying the Demorats don't cheat! Hell, I believe both sides cheat, when and where they can. The issue is that other side is just way better at it than Republicans are, both in implementation and legislation. So, if Republican's and election denier's, think their candidate lost, due to the Demorats cheating "strategy", it's time for the Republicans to change their "tactics". Continuing to whine is not a strategy and not tactically sound.
Ahh, and then there is Hunter. Like charging this guy with something, anything, would change anything. Oh, it will get you to the doorway of the "Big Guy". Hmm, then what? What happens after Hunter is convicted..of something? Let's see...How long would it take to get him to court and convict him..of something? Once he is convicted..of something, we go after the "Big Guy". Years later, they convict the "Big Guy". What do we get? Oh, another shinny we can go chase after. If the "Big Guy" is still President, he resigns in disgrace, and we get what/whom? Another bad strategy that is not tactically sound, with no end game.
Now again, I am not saying that these guys should not be criminally prosecuted. Constitutional law and order should be the rule. The law should apply to everyone equally, but let someone else do it. Republicans, in Congress, are wasting their time pursuing this with no end game. There is nothing for "them/us" to gain that is tangible. The electorate is pretty evenly divided. There is that small percentage in the middle that they/we need to win over to win in 2024. They need to "Work on" what they need to do to "Win over" the middle. Denying elections and Hunter are not it.
If you don't prosecute somebody, it says illegality has no repercussions, instead you persecute anyone who complains about the illegality and that confirms no repercussions, carry on as usual.

But, maybe this time they'll find some third shift janitor, nail his butt to the wall for stealing paper clips and call it espionage, theft of government property, interfering with government operations, then send him to Gitmo. 80% of America will breathe a sigh of relief.

Like I argue with him, if you're in control you can funnel billions, ala Ukraine, climate, etc., you get billions of our money without sacrificing yours, you can make new rules to throttle your opponents, you can decide not to enforce existing rules against your cronies, you can appoint more cronies( Garland, Buttigieg), you can control the media and social media to guide the sheeple, you can import huge numbers of low class people totally dependent on you to control future voting, and you can publicly punish decenters, so everyone understand that descent has life threatening consequences.
One side playing by the rules while the other side cheats, wins nothing.
