I've been getting tired of the billboards showing the 3.2 Million figure for vaccinations one day and 6.2 Million the next.

I figured it was just incompetent Government employees, but I repeat myself.

Just found out what it is. Both figures are correct, just the verbage accompanying them sucks.

Just got the Community Impact Newspaper and it's on the front page.

Number of COVIC-19 vaccines administered: 6.2 Million

Number of people who have received at least one dose: 3.4 Million

So now I won't send an email telling them to get their feces together, but I should send one urging them to find someone who has English for a first language to do the accompanying text.

Whoever is in charge of the messages on those boards should be fired for general incompetence. The word "doses" used to be in the message, but they removed it so they could be more confusing (or more likely to make it seem like they have accomplished something, and you are missing out).

I especially enjoy the messages that tell you a freeway is closed when that freeway is 30 miles away, but they don't tell you about the off ramp closure that is 3 miles away....as if they don't have the technology to change it.

I would like to see the stats on how effective the Amber/Silver Alert messages are....I've never heard of someone actually finding the car they are looking for via the sign message.

I believe 3.2 was people vaccinated and 6.2 was doses issued.
2 shots per person.

No, the figures reflect the fact that Johnson & Johnson only requires 1 dose, the others require 2.
