Lifetime member of NRA and GOA, but honestly haven't given either a dime since paid my lifetime dues many years ago. Especially soured to NRA, long before today's news of bankruptcy.
Which organization(s) do you guys contribute to? Which are most cost effective, i.e. donation dollars really going to fund to fight?

For sure AZCDL The ARIZONA (only)Citizens Defense League. Only 2 paid members and they are our paid lobbyists in the Arizona state congress . The rest of our 17,000 members are unpaid volunteers promoting our state citizens gun rights.

There surely must be agents/organizations that are effective in supporting our 2nd Amendment rights but I am hesitant to consider the NRA a lost cause. If for no other reason that the amount of continuous effort from the left to discredit or eliminate their voice in the national debate. I would suggest we follow their effort to recover.

There is no other national organization that has the resources to support our 2A rights in Washington at this time and it would take years for any existing organization to ramp up to where they could do it.

So for now, the NRA is really all we've got on a National level.

On a local Arizona level, the AzCDL is the only organization with the resources to support our 2A rights.

And if you use Amazon, search Amazon smile and set up AZCDL as your charity of choice. Make sure on subsequent buys the Amazon smile logo is in the upper left. For some reason,, I can't get my account to default to Amazon smile. Everything you buy from evil Bezos kicks a % to AZCDL...!

NRA needs some serious reorganization. I have stopped supporting them and probably will continue. It is unfortunate that they have the top reputation in the business, but something has to be done about the present situation.

And the NRA is the only one with the resources to do it, so I'll continue to support them.

going to stick with AZCDL. Now that we have gone to blue it will be more important than ever to support what may now be a real effort to reign in freedoms locally. Too bad .. I really liked AZ.

Until Wayne is gone you're pissing money away giving it to the NRA. They have not fought for gun rights in a long time.

Then what is all this litigation about? It involves 19 States.

Never belonged, too many people lining their pockets. When they organize like AzCDL then they will get my support.
And it may be too late as fewer and fewer trust them. JMHO
